Bio
Millwall Football Club announced the signing of Ryan Wintle on loan from Cardiff City until the end of the 2024/25 season on 28th August 2024.
The 27-year-old midfielder, with over 100 Sky Bet Championship appearances to his name, became the eighth signing of the summer transfer window.
Making his professional debut at Crewe Alexandra, Wintle spent four full seasons plying his trade for the Gresty Road outfit in League Two before The Alex - and Wintle - made the step up to League One in 2020/21.
After one campaign in the third tier, The Bluebirds came calling and the midfielder moved to Wales, overseeing a loan spell at Blackpool during his first campaign in South Wales.
A regular in the engine room of Cardiff City's first XI for the past two-and-a-half seasons, Wintle made 44 appearances in all competitions last season and now becomes part of Neil Harris' squad moving forward.
