Millwall Football Club announced the signing of Andreas Voglsammer from Union Berlin on 12th August 2022.

The striker joined The Lions on a one-year deal, with the option for a further 12 months.

Voglsammer, who spent time in Bayern Munich's youth system and can play in a central role or out wide in a front three, counts German Bundesliga 2 side Heidenheim and Arminia Bielefeld among his former clubs, making the move to Germany's capital in the summer of 2021.

With 48 goals to his name at Bielefeld, the German youth international gained Bundesliga and UEFA Europa Conference League experience at Berlin in 2021/22 - making 45 appearances as Union finished fifth in the top tier - and opted to forgo Europa League football in favour of becoming a Lion.

Voglsammer scored three times for Millwall in 2022/23, including strikes in back-to-back matches at Reading and at home to Swansea City, providing a solid attacking option for Gary Rowett.
